About Artist
My name is Liz, I'm a self taught artist living in Canada. My love of animals and a passion for art are the inspiration behind my paintbrush. I have been a dog lover my entire life so it's no surprise that our four legged pals are the theme throughout much of the artwork I produce.
Having no formal art education, I learn by practising and observing the things around me. Besides painting in watercolor, I also paint in acrylics, do pen and ink art and since learning how to use a computer I enjoy creating computer art.
In addition to pet portraits I paint small landscapes, flowers and wild animals. My computer art is sold on a variety of products such as mugs and posters at various commercial websites including Zazzle and Cafepress.
